Eric Peterson
19U/12th Grade

4th Season with PGC--- UW La Crosse '06

 

Eric is in his fourth season with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors program.  Eric is currently an assistant coach for University of Minnesota - Moorehead in Moorehead, Minnesota

Eric as an assistant coach at Williston State College in Williston, North Dakota from 2006-2009.

From 2003-2005 he was the Varsity Assistant Boys Basketball coach at La Crescent High School, in La Crescent, Minnesota.  He also coached 7th grade
basketball for the La Crescent program in 2002.  Eric worked with the Fox Valley Skillz 13U/7th Grade team in 2004 that went 43-8 and then with the
12U/6th Grade team in 2005 that went 34-11. Eric spent the 2005 and 2006 seasons working directly under Ritchie Davis.


Eric was is from West Salem, Wisconsin and graduated from West Salem High School in 2001.  He is the son of Roger and Dianne Peterson.  He has two sisters, Nichole and Kylie.  He was a two-time All Conference basketball player and track athlete, a two-time All Area basketball player along with playing quarterback for the Panthers football team.  He was in the top 5% of his class along with being a nine-time scholar athlete.  He lettered 3 times in football, basketball, and track and field.  He helped lead the Panthers to a conference championship on the basketball court in 2000 which was their first in 52 years.

Eric is single and resides in Fargo, North Dakota. He will be moving back to La Crosse, Wisconsin this spring to resume his role as an assistant coach with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors 19U/12th Grade team.
