Francisco Vasquez
16U/10th Grade
5th Season with PGC--- University of Florida '95
Francisco Vasquez is one of the most thorough and organized individuals involved in the prep boy's basketball scene in the state of Wisconsin. His attention to detail and his ability to communicate with both high school players and coaches throughout the state of Wisconsin separates him from many other coaches. Francisco joined the PGC coaching staff on September 1, 2006.
With the Playground Warriors, Vasquez's duties include assisting in practice planning, recruiting at the high school level, scouting and involvement with the day-to-day operations of the entire program. One of his main responsibilities is overseeing the academic progress of the players with a special emphasis on the core classes required by most post secondary institutions as well as ACT/SAT testing.
Francisco Vasquez graduated from North Springs High School in Atlanta, Georgia in May of 1991. He participated in a variety of extracurricular activities including basketball and track & field. Coach Vasquez went on to the University of Florida and graduated with a degree in journalism in August of 1995. He continued on pursuing his law degree at the University of Wisconsin, receiving his degree in May of 1999.
Francisco currently practices law with Michels Corporation
in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He lives with his wife, Kirstin, in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.
