4th Season with PGC--- UW-Madison '95

 

Joshua Kroetz returns to the sideline for the fourth year with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors program as an assistant coach on the 19U/12th Grade team. No stranger to Ritchie Davis' coaching philosophy, Kroetz served as an assistant coach under Davis with the Sun Prairie Hoops Club for two seasons. He also assisted Davis with the Sun Prairie Junior Varsity Baseball team in the spring of 1998. Coach Kroetz will assume a greater responsibility in the areas of office management, team travel, summer camp opportunities, and filming.

Coach Kroetz has been around the game of basketball since he was a toddler. His father, John Kroetz, was a very successful athletic director and head coach at Sacred Hearts Middle School in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, for many years. Kroetz has been a real asset to the PGC players in terms of their individual development.

Kroetz is a 1995 graduate of UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in behavioral science and criminal justice. He received his master's degree in social work from UW-Milwaukee in 2000. Coach Kroetz is currently working as a school social worker for the Kenosha Unified School District in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He is single and resides in Kenosha as well.
