U14/8th Grade Level
Players should develop skills and learn the basic fundamentals of the offenses and defenses used in the Wisconsin Playground Warriors Basketball Program. Particular points of emphasis will be on pressure man-to-man defense, motion offense, and the swing offense. We hope to get all players in the majority of the games scheduled for the spring and summer tournament seasons. We will keep 10 - 12 players on the PGC U14/8th Grade team. Our team goal at this level is to gain a better understanding of the concepts used in our system and to apply them to a real game setting.
U15/9th Grade Level
We hope to reinforce the skills learned at the U14/8th Grade level and to increase the level of intensity during competition. We also hope to add to the sophistication level of play to prepare our players for the varsity level of high school basketball. We will keep 11 - 12 players on the PGC U15/9th Grade team. Our team goal at this level is to compete and strive to win.
U16/10th Grade Level
Once again, we hope to reinforce the skills learned at the U15/9th Grade and U14/8th Grade levels of play as well as to increase the level of intensity during competition. It is extremely important to gain a strong base at the other levels of play in our program in order to play at this level. We will keep 12 players on the PGC U16/10th Grade team. Our team goal at this level is to prepare our players for both the varsity level of high school basketball and the collegiate level as well as to WIN!
U17/Junior Level
This is the ultimate level in the entire Wisconsin Playground Warriors Basketball Program and should be the level that all players strive to attain. Once again, it is absolutely imperative that players gain a strong base at the other levels of play in our program in order to play at this level. We will keep 12 players on the PGC U17/Junior team. Our team goal at this level is to prepare our players for the college game and to WIN!!
